The project is located on Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road close to the Green Community, and runs in a north south direction. The full project area is bounded by the Arabian Ranches Interchange to the north and the Truck Road at the Dubai / Abu Dhabi border to the south. The scope of work included the widening of approximately 33km of existing highway. The widening comprises the construction of three new lanes in each direction to form twelve lanes in total, which are separated by a double faced concrete barrier. The overall development of Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road was divided into three different Phases, and this particular Phase represents Phase 2a which extends from the existing Al Hoadh R/A at the intersection with Al Yalayis Road (D57) up to the existing roundabout at the intersection with Jebal Ali – Lehbab Road No. E77. The scope of work included upgrading Al Hoadh R/A into a grade separated Interchange as well as the provision of street lighting services to the roadway facilities, crossing ducts for different utilities, and the relocation and / or protection of existing services affected by the proposed highway scheme based on coordination and approval of the respective utility authorities. Wimpy Interchange is located at the junction of Ramps Khor Road and Nad Al Hamer Road and it has designed as a full cloverleaf.
The project was envisaged by the Dubai Municipality to improve the road network and reduce the traffic at the signailsed junction of Ramool Road near the Garhood Bridge.
This project is a component of the overall R757 project Palm Island (Jumeirah) Access Roads.
The project included improvement of the existing interchange No. 5 along Sheikh Zayed Road.
The project area, measuring approximately 340 ha, is situated to the east of the large, elliptical-shaped roundabout, which is at the northern tip of Dubai Investment Park, on the Emirates Road
The project is located in the eastern part of Dubai urban area, running north south direction, bounded by Jebel Ali / Al Hebab to the north and trucks road to Dubai/ Abu Dhabi border to the south, and parallel to the Emirates Road (311) to the west.
Improvements of Al Khail Road, Al Khail Road-Umm Suquaim Road Junction consisted of constructing a new interchange on the Al Khail Road to replace the existing Roundabout with Umm Suquaim Road, as well as widening Al Khail Road from 4 to 6 lanes.
This project included the construction of an Underpass Dual Carriageway traversing the Mussafah Road/ Abu Dhabi International Airport Expressway.
The project comprised design and associated Road Works & Traffic Management,widening of Karama Street, relocation of Utilities, Footpaths, Storm Water and Street Lighting, Car Park and hardscaping for Aloft Hotel.
The project involved the construction of a portion of the back road, Bukidra Interchange, the new interchange at the Intersection of Road 313 with Al Ain freeway and an interchange at the intersection of the realigned Road 309 with the back Road.
